It was slow start today given our late night out at the Knicks. Mark and I headed up to the Museum of Natural History before catching up with an d work colleague of Marks, BRETT and Ali headed out to walk the Highline and Annabelle and Matt headed to Williamsburg markets.
We gathered together again at 5.35pm for our entry to the Top of the Rock, the viewing platform at the top of the Rockefeller Centre. We’d timed our visit to be over sunset so we could see the change in colors of the Manhattan sky with the shift from daylight to the dazzling array of lights. We left Top of the Rock at about 7pm and caught the train to Bleecker Street where we had dinner at the GMT tavern.
